David Foox, former New York City attorney turned artist, has created an original and inspiring work of art, perfect for Valentine’s Day. Titled My Heart: The Ultimate Valentine’s Day Gift, this series is limited to only 8 and features a genuine x-ray film with a painted anatomical heart, each framed in a backlit box. David adds a personal quality to each piece, not only by using x-rays of his own body, but by mixing the acrylic paints by hand. The limited number of pieces is directly related to the amount of radiation he was able to be exposed to within a year, making this a true gift from the heart.
