Darth Vader Toaster

If there’s something every Sith Lord knows how to do it’s make a balanced breakfast. While the Jedi have to live off of Jawa juice and fried nerfsteak, the Dark Lord of the Sith prefers to have a reminder of his fiery Mustafar defeat at his breakfast table. Every morning he burns that moment into a slice of bread with the Darth Vader Toaster. This black, ominous kitchen appliance easily leaves the mark of Vader’s helmet in every yummy piece of toast. Slather some Bantha butter on top, or make two pieces for an extra-Sithy BLT. Force power not required to operate toaster.

Chill, pour and preserve wine all from a single system. Whether you are a wine connoisseur or frequently entertain, Skybar is the new and elegant way to serve and store wine. Individually controlled chambers let you keep up to three different wines ready to serve, each at its ideal varietal-specific temperature. Nine wine presets allow you to select the correct temperature, taking the guesswork out of chilling. When you’re ready for a glass, Skybar pours the wine for you. With a press of the button, wine is dispensed into your glass. Guests may choose the wine they want and when they want it.

Taste of Talking Salt and Pepper Shaker

What would we do without the insanely cool products from the Netherlands, particularly those of Henk Stallinga, the man who came up with these salt and pepper shakers? They are infinitely interesting, to say the least. They resemble traditional ear and mouth pieces from the telephones of yore. Actually, they don’t merely resemble them: they really are (unused) pieces taken from real phones. And they’re mounted on the indicators of the original Morris Mini. Quite the unique combination of elements. The top is beautiful ivory and the base is transparent white. What can we say? We love functional objets d’art.

Tea becomes a framed work of art as leaves gently unfurl while they steep in this contemporary teapot. Sorapot’s architectural shape and simple functionality bring tea’s quiet beauty into sharp focus. Made from 304 stainless steel, borosilicate glass (Pyrex), and food-grade silicone, the Sorapot articulates the ritual of tea making in a thoroughly modern way.
