From the pages of DC Comics, comes Robert Tonner’s Batman/Bruce Wayne Gift Set, featuring an exciting Silver Age-inspired version of the Dark Knight. His secret identity of Bruce Wayne reflects the dashing and wealthy philanthropist’s charm in a custom-fitted tuxedo. this 17″ figure is crafted in fine quality vinyl and hard plastic, and he features 14 points of articulated movement. As with all Tonner character figures, Batman/Bruce Wayne features hand painted face details and fine rooted saran fiber hair. His costume and tuxedo are completely removable to switch between characters when the time is right.

The Chopper 1:3 figure (200 pieces)  created by Mark Landwehr for Coarsetoys will soon be available worldwide. Chopper was initially exclusive to the Vans Berlin store but 60 pieces will soon be on their way back to Hong Kong for world-wide distribution.  Chopper is similar to the Pain 1:3 release but has notable differences — the wicked meat cleaver accessory, a new deck design, and different kicks.

Via location shooting around the globe, toypunks spotlights several top Japanese fashion designers, toy makers and artists illuminating the fact that most of these influential creators find deep roots in DIY, punk and outsider attitudes. Several top US artists and toy makers are included in the discussion, revealing profound parallels between their lives and those of their Japanese contemporaries.
