Japan-based Teijin Fibers Ltd. launched the first environmentally friendly wool and polyester blend fabric and took two years of development. The manufacturing process does not rely on petroleum – recycled polyester made from used plastic bottles – has a soft hand and is odor/wrinkle-resistant.
