The debut album featuring 10 songs written by Jerry Vessel, formerly of Red House Painters and recently a touring member of Sun Kil Moon. After residing in San Francisco for a number of years, Vessel returned to California’s San Joaquin Valley to find a new home in a familiar place. Inspired by the rural surroundings in which he now lives, Vessel found the time and solitude to reflect and write, the result being Heirlooms of August’s Forever the Moon.

No problem – use the onboard driver bit to remove the blade so that you are TSA-friendly.

Capturing the look and feel of a vintage camera, the iCA iPhone case turns your phone into the camera it always dreamed of being. With iPhone photography growing everyday, why not ditch the point and shoot and just use your phone? Constructed of super tough Polycarbonate, the case surrounds your phone and comes with two mock ‘lenses’ that attach to the front. A detachable tripod mount is great for longer exposures and the soft Gizmon bag will protect the Camera, uh, iPhone when not in use.

This reclaimed oak coffee table with stainless steel legs is a one of a kind handmade piece. The table top is made from an old discarded railroad tie from Virginia’s Capitol of Richmond. The tie has been cut, ripped, and completely sealed. It has square holes that are left from where the railroad spikes were driven through to secure the tie to the tracks. The stainless steel legs are fully tig welded and have a pewter style look to contrast the satin wood finish. This piece has working historical value as well as modern appeal, and would be a great addition to any furniture collection. Rad!

By popular demand, Prosthetic Records will soon release The Collective, the critically acclaimed 2011 album by Houston progressive instrumentalists SCALE THE SUMMIT, on vinyl. The LP — limited to 500 copies on high-quality 180-gram wax, and available now for pre-order at the Prosthetic Store – will feature enhanced cover art, pictured above. Additionally, it will contain the bonus track “Redwoods,” a song recorded during The Collective sessions that to date has only been available on the Japanese version of the album.

The Collective, called “terrifyingly good” and “essential prog” by Guitar World, was recorded in late 2010 at Paint It Black Studios in Orlando, Florida with producer Mark Lewis (Devildriver, All That Remains, The Black Dahlia Murder). It was supported by five North American tours in 2011 alongside the likes of Periphery, Protest The Hero, The Human Abstract, Fair To Midland, Cynic and 3.
