Beer drinkers of America, prepare your beer hats. Scotland’s three-year-old BrewDog microbrewery has unleashed Tactical Nuclear Penguin on the US. As I type, cases of this 36% alcohol are making their way to our coasts. That isn’t a typo. Three. Six. Decimal here. Percent. From the label: “This is an extremely strong beer; it should be enjoyed in small servings and with an air of aristocratic nonchalance. It is exactly the same manner you would enjoy a fine whiskey, a Frank Zappa album or a visit from a friendly yet anxious ghost.” There. You’ve been politely instructed. How does it taste?
