Six distinct designs compose the collection, four new and two reissued classics from celebrated designers George Nelson and Charles and Ray Eames. The company challenged itself and four award-winning design firms to solve problems not currently addressed by the home office furnishings market— intelligent home integration, elegant use of space, and what to do about all those cords. And while each new design uniquely succeeds, all embody Herman Miller’s philosophy of intelligence, sustainability and grace in design. The collection manages modern day clutter with features like integrated cord management, multi functional storage pieces and secondary surfaces for peripherals. It compliments modern day living spaces with a compact footprint, use of natural materials and Herman Miller’s enduring design aesthetic. Herman Miller seating innovations like the Aeron and classics like the Eames Aluminum Group accompany the new desks whose materials and finishes have been selected to compliment their mid-century classic furnishings from Nelson, Eames and Noguchi.
