Spore’s main designer, Ted Pierson, is addressing the need for a modern overhaul on the traditional doorbell design. The company was created in 1996 and has been devoted to this problem ever since. They offer a handful of designs, but the True model is, by far, the most impressive. The all metal body comes in a number of finishes, including aluminum, black and bronze and features an LED-illuminated halo, in amber, blue and white. You have the option of purchasing True without the illuminated halo, but that would just be silly.
