Rob Zombie just released the new teaser poster and partial cast list for H2 on his official myspace page, and I have to admit I’m less than thrilled.  The original remake boasted excellent, and in some aspects long forgotten cult film stars.  Stars like Malcolm McDowell, William Forsythe, Danielle Harris, Dee Wallace, and the list goes on.

I have absolute faith in Rob and all the work he’s done, but with the new cast including the Geico caveman, the At&T rollover minute kid, and the voice of Patrick from Spongebob, the only thought running through my head is can Malcolm McDowell, Bill Mosley, and Caroline Williams (Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2) carry this film?

Filming is beginning soon in Georgia, and yes, Malcolm McDowell will return as Dr. Loomis.  H2 is set to release August 28, 2009.
