Today, February 26th, is Johnny Cash’s 78th birthday and the release date of his final studio album, American VI: Ain’t No Grave. A facebook group and twitter feed have been started by the Cash family, along with Rick Rubin/American Recordings and Lost Highway Records, to encourage fans worldwide to participate in celebrating Johnny’s life by wearing black today and spreading the word. Participants will be eligible to win a copy of Cash’s new album as well as the 5-CD box set, Unearthed.
