With today’s release of Eleni Mendell’s eleventh album “Artificial Fire”, I keep wondering why she isn’t as popular as the Feists of the world.  I’ve been quite an avid fan of hers for some time, and consider her last album “Miracle of Five” in my top ten best.  Artificial Fire is quickly taking its place.  From songs like Artificial Fire that are more edgy, to Bigger Burn that are more surf rock, Eleni successfully tackles many styles while still keeping every song just as good as the last.  I highly recommend this to everyone no matter what your music taste.
