Moby Wait for Me
I love when an artist uses all the resources available to create an overall emotion in their work. Moby does this with his upcoming album, Wait for Me, available June 30th. This is an album where you start at song #1 and listen all the way through for the full story. It’s a true work of art. The songs all flow together so well, one moving into the next with perfect harmony. The cover works perfectly with the emotions contained in the songs – it’s obvious that Moby took everything into consideration when making this album. The first single, “Shot in the Back of the Head,” was released recently with an amazing video directed by David Lynch. It’s been a long time since an album actually was good enough to give me the chills, but this one does. The instrumentals are so beautiful and well put together that you can’t help but get caught up in the story Moby is sharing. I would challenge anyone not to love Wait for Me. This is Moby’s best album yet.
