Record Store Ruins
Dinosaurs and Robots has a neat entry this past week with photos by Calvin Kaneda. They got into 2 abandoned Tower Record stores and one video store to take pictures. The results are a tad unnerving for those of us that remember the record store as an energetic fun place to dream about all the music that could be bought if there was no rent to be paid or food to be bought. Physical media fetish running rampant. The flickr set is great, lots of good pictures of abandoned buildings and graffiti, plenty of urban exploration pictures.
