Santogold mixes up reggae influences, punk and pop music to make something truly different from what’s been out lately. White’s voice has been called a mix between Karen O. and MIA. Also worth looking into are the videos, L.E.S. Artistes is easily found on youtube and has a lovely unexplainable strangeness reminiscent of the mid nineties industrial video. Go get you some Santogold.
