The Yeah Yeah Yeahs have finally found their true voice.  After the success of the single “Maps” and two albums, their upcoming release, It’s Blitz!, achieves true music perfection.  Karen O’s voice is finally realized for its full potential and she really lets go, making the transformation from sweet indie singer to rock star.

It’s Blitz! has a danceable sound right from the first track, “Zero,” which was the first single released from the album.  “Heads Will Roll” is the most original track, pulling away from the old sound of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and showing us that they can make great dance music.  “Dull Life” and “Shame and Fortune” are the rock tracks of the album, and then we have the classic Yeah Yeah Yeahs sound in “Skeletons” and “Little Shadow.”  Each song on the album represents a different side of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ talent and delivers a wide range of music for whatever your music taste may be.

It’s Blitz! will be released digitally on March 9th and the CD version will be in stores on March 31st.
