A new vending machine that focuses on reusing and recycling, the Swap-o-Matic encourages users to swap things they already have. Anything can be put in the Swap-o-Matic, and recently swapped items include a handwritten poem, tshirts, movies, mugs, guitar picks and much more. There is no charge for using the machine, and each donated item gives users “points” to spend on taking items. Swapping items is completely free, and an easy-to-use touchscreen interface makes the process very simple.
